Louvre Hosts Major Jacques-Louis David Exhibition

The Musée du Louvre in Paris is hosting a major survey of Jacques-Louis David's work, marking the first comprehensive exhibition of the artist in nearly four decades. Featuring over 100 pieces, the exhibition aims to redefine David's legacy beyond his Neoclassical reputation, presenting him as both a realist and an idealist. The show, which includes significant loans from France and eight other countries, coincides with the 200th anniversary of David's death in 1825.
