Researchers at the Rijksmuseum in the Netherlands have reattributed the 17th-century painting _Vision of Zacharias in the Temple_ to Rembrandt after a two-year study that confirmed its authenticity. The painting, which depicts the biblical moment when Zacharias is informed by the Archangel Gabriel that he will have a son, had been lost for 65 years before resurfacing when its current owner contacted the museum. Advanced imaging and materials analysis demonstrated that the painting's techniques and materials align with those used by Rembrandt, and it will be on public display starting March 4.
