Van Gogh Painting Recovered and Restored at Groninger Museum

The Groninger Museum in the Netherlands has displayed Vincent van Gogh's painting _The Parsonage Garden at Nuenen in Spring_ (1884) after its recovery from theft in 2020. The artwork was returned in 2023 by Dutch police and art sleuth Arthur Brand, found inside an Ikea bag and requiring extensive restoration by conservator Marjan de Visser to restore its original appearance. The museum has also provided digital displays for visitors to compare the painting's condition before and after restoration.
