Loyle Carner Stars in BBC's Crime Series 'Mint'
Rapper Loyle Carner makes his acting debut as Arran Denson in the BBC's crime series 'Mint,' directed by Charlotte Regan, which presents a modern interpretation of 'Romeo and Juliet.' The eight-part series follows Shannon, the daughter of a crime family, as she navigates a forbidden romance with Arran, a member of a rival clan, amidst family turmoil and criminal undertones. All episodes will be available for streaming on BBC iPlayer from April 20, 2026, with the first two episodes airing on BBC One the same night.
