NVIDIA CEO calls $660 billion AI investment sustainable

Firmus Technologies secures $10 billion loan for expansion

Australian AI startup Firmus Technologies Pty. secured a $10 billion loan led by Blackstone Inc. to enhance its data center rollout, marking one of the largest private credit financings in the country. The investment underscores the increasing demand for artificial intelligence technologies, as Firmus prepares to receive a $2 billion shipment of computers within the next six weeks.

Advent and FedEx to Acquire InPost for €7.8 Billion

A consortium led by Advent International and FedEx has agreed to acquire the Polish parcel-delivery provider InPost for €7.8 billion ($9.3 billion), offering €15.60 per share, a 50% premium over its share price from January 2. The deal, which has received unanimous support from InPost's special committee and shareholders holding 48% of the company's shares, is expected to close in the second half of 2026. Following the acquisition, InPost will maintain its operational independence and brand, with CEO Rafał Brzoska continuing to lead the company.
