Macron pushes for swift ban on social media access for minors
French President Emmanuel Macron announced plans to expedite legislation banning social media access for children under 15, aiming for the law to be in effect by the start of the next school year in September. Bulgarians Return Home for Remote Work and Higher Incomes
A growing number of highly skilled Bulgarians are returning from Germany to work remotely, attracted by higher net incomes due to lower taxes and social security deductions. Kristina Borisova, who moved back to Bulgaria in early 2025 after eight years in Germany, reports earning around €300 more monthly than her German salary while living in Pomorie. Konstantin Ruskov, a lawyer advising German companies, noted an increase in clients facilitating such relocations, from five at the pandemic's onset to at least 80 today, reflecting a broader trend of Bulgarians returning home, with over 18,000 repatriating in 2024.
