Korean AI startup Upstage is negotiating with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) to purchase 10,000 of its latest AI accelerators, specifically the MI355 model, to enhance large-scale computing capabilities in Korea, according to CEO Sung Kim. This procurement aims to bolster the country's AI infrastructure.
Dash0 has raised $110 million in a funding round led by Balderton Capital, achieving a valuation of $1 billion to enhance its monitoring platform for software system issues in the US. Co-founder Mirko Novakovic aims to increase the company's revenue tenfold this year, positioning Dash0 to compete with established firms like Datadog and Dynatrace. Founded in Germany in 2023, Dash0 is now headquartered in New York and is the second startup this year to reach unicorn status in the AI sector.
