Impulse Space and Anduril Develop Space-Based Missile Interceptors

Impulse Space is collaborating with Anduril Industries to develop prototype space-based interceptors for the proposed Golden Dome missile defense system, which aims to track and destroy missiles from orbit. The Pentagon has awarded contracts of under $9 million each to various firms, with Impulse serving as a subcontractor to Anduril. General Michael Guetlein indicated that the Golden Dome system could cost $185 billion and is expected to demonstrate operational capability by 2028.
