Cloudflare to reduce workforce by 20 percent
Cloudflare announced it will cut approximately 20% of its workforce, equating to over 1,100 jobs, as part of a restructuring to adapt to the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence tools. The company, which had 5,156 full-time employees at the end of 2025, expects to incur charges of $140 million to $150 million related to these job cuts in the second quarter. This decision follows a significant increase in Cloudflare's AI usage, which has risen more than sixfold in the past three months.
