Two Arrested After Attempting Entry to UK Naval Base

Cornwall Insight forecasts that typical annual household energy bills in the UK will rise by £332 to £1,972 starting in July, driven by surging gas prices linked to the ongoing conflict in Iran. The energy regulator Ofgem will finalize the price cap on May 27, based on wholesale prices from March to May.
Former MI5 Contractor Found Not Guilty by Insanity
Juan Joseph, a former MI5 IT contractor, was found 'not guilty by reason of insanity' by a jury at the Old Bailey after disclosing intelligence to a foreign power. Joseph, 43, worked for MI5 from 2009 until 2020, but developed schizophrenia with paranoid delusions in October 2020, leading to the termination of his contract.
